* Director of Marketing – Hong Kong
Company description: Our client is a 5* international (worldwide) multi-brand hotel company. The position is at their 500+ rooms & busy F&B property in a busy CBD, surrounded by more similar hotels The company has several hotels in Hong Kong, with various brands. The hotel in case represents the top-tier of this hotel company, i.e one of the luxury brands they operate.
Job & Profile description: The position reports to GM. Reporting to the DOM will be the Director of Sales, Director of Event Sales, Director of Communications and E-Commerce Manager.  It is not a regional/area role although the DOM also oversees the  marketing aspect of 1 other 4 star hotel in Hong Kong which accounts for around 5% of the time. Requirements are: Great knowledge of Hong Kong, Asia Pacific and China market, 2nd time DOM; experience in similar capacity in 5-star Hotel and/or with Regional S&M experience, Strategic thinking, business acumen, results oriented, professional demeanour, great communication skills. The position is open to non- HKSAR residents, could be expatriate basis. Speaking Cantonese is not a must , good English is required  The important attributes would be the knowledge of and connection in the Hong Kong, Asia and China market.  Due to business volume and a very competitive market, 2nd time DOM from sizable hotel or similar capacity (such as area/regional role) would be prefered.

Company description:   Our client is an established 5* hotel in Shanghai, over 500 rooms, operating for over 20 years, partially renovated, and by franchise associated to an international hotel brand. The hotel is centrally located and a known feature in Shanghai catering to 20% corporate, 40% FIT, and 20% group base for MICE and Conventions due to location.  
Job & Profile description: Reporting to the GM, the ideal candidate has previous experience in the Shanghai market, at least 4-5 years in a Director level position. You have strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin. Preferably you have good knowledge of branding, leading various team members to performance.The position is open to PRC nationals and Mandarin speaking expatriates. .

Job & Profile description: Minimum 5 years working experience in an international 5 star hotel with at least 2 years in a similar capacity. The candidate possesses in-depth knowledge of handling catering and MICE business, is aggressive in driving revenue with good business acumen. Analytical skills with keen eyes for details. Confident/assertive/persuasive, quality driven, flexible, hard working, dedicated, team builder, effectively at eliciting support and utilizing resources. The Director of Events Management complies with the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales & Marketing and within the limits of established corporate office / hotel policies and procedures, oversees day to day sales effort of Senior Events Manager, Events Manager, Events Executive with specific responsibilities for directing catering sales, event coordination and successful execution, training, and implementing action plans set forth in the Marketing Plan.
