* Chinese Master Chef – Shanghai
Company Description: Conveniently located in Shanghai’s Pudong area, this hotel has around 700 rooms, 9 F&B outlets (3 restaurants, 3 bars, 2 coffee shops) + ballroom & 17 meeting rooms. The property is part of a worldwide multi-branded group of hotels and resorts.
Job & Profile Description: Reporting to the western Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the contemporary Chinese restaurant with 230 seats and for banqueting up to 400 seats in the ballroom. You will have a team of 45 people reporting to you. Ideally you have 3-5 years equivalent 5 star hotel working experience in China, preferably in Shanghai. The position is open to locals and expats.
Salary & other benefits: A salary up to RMB 28,000 is offered, depending on experience and qualifications.

* Executive Chef - Hangzhou

Job & Profile Description: Reporting to the Director of F&B, you will be responsible for around 150 kitchen & stewarding staff. You will oversee the operations of around 10 outlets with focus on an Italian restaurant, an all day dining buffet restaurant, room service and banqueting. You should be European trained and have knowledge of Italian cuisine. Ideally you have China experience and you have worked with some international chain hotels.

Group Executive Chef - Hangzhou
Company Description:
  Our client is an established hotel group with several 4* and 5* hotels and resorts in Zhejiang Province. They are currently re-branding several existing hotels and developping a boutique hotel brand, .
Job & Profile Description:  The ideal candidate has experience as Executive Chef with 5* international hotels in China, preferably done a pre-opening. Strong in kitchen management, training, putting P&P's in place and able to lead various Chefs at various properties to a more common standard and upgrading. The position reports to the COO (Westerner). You should be familiar with modern trends in F&B, and have experience with making kitchen design/lay out for the several hotels under construction.
Salary & Other Benefits:  An Expat package on single base is offered with a salary of USD 5.000 x 13 months. Partner/spouse can be considered but the employer can not accommodate young children/ schooling fees.

* Chinese Head Chef - Overseas posting

Company Description: We regularly have hotels and restaurants outside the Greater China area asking us for Chinese Cuisine Chefs. Although our specialty is recruiting for hotels in the region and we pride ourselves for having a close understanding of our clients' property, location, local situation and level of sophistication, we can respond to these requests for overseas placements of Chinese Chefs for a few trusted and long term contacts. 
Job & Profile Description: Chinese Nationals, PRC or otherwise are generally wanted overseas, sometimes with a specific Regional background such as Cantonese, Dim Sum, Sichuan, Beijing-style, but as most of these places will hire only 1 geniune Chinese Chef, all-round chefs who can do a very general Chinese cuisine, mostly to the taste of foreign patrons. Abilty to speak good English is a must, previous overseas experience an advantage. Ability to work under local conditions with limited sources of supply and patience to train local staff is also a requirement.
Salary & Other Benefits: The salaries for these positions may very widely, according to country and the level required but can range from 3000 - 5000 USD, with benefits such as accommodation, relocation, annual leave back to China. Normally these contracts are on single status basis. They are normally 1 or 2 year contracts, and a valid work permit will be arranged by the employer and we insist they have a previous record of employing Chinese Chefs before, with all papers in order.

* Executive Sous Chef -  Inner Mongolia
Company description: Our client is a 5* international hotel in Inner Mongolia, part of an international chain of hotels and resorts. The property located in the city center, has around 400 rooms, 2 restaurants, 1 bar + lobby lounge, banquet hall and conference rooms.
Job & Profile description: To maintain a high standard of all food preparation, service and hygiene in his respective Kitchens, according to the standards required by the management. Executive Sous Chef might Take charge of the kitchen operation when the Executive Chef is on leave or absent from work / ensure consistency in the food quality, taste and presentation. The position is immediately available.Has good knowledge of classis and modern cooking and presentation.A minimum of two to three years experience as a Sous Chef.HACCP knowledge is preferred.
Salary & other benefits: The salary for the position is 9K-14K depends on experience and qualification, but would ideally be on single status.
